Lots of drawings
Over the past two weeks, I’ve been drawing daily. I really would love if I could get better at certain things, so I decided to draw as much as possible for the next couple of weeks. I’m going to go for as long as I can — so we’ll see how long that ends up being. So far, I’ve really loved drawing everyday — it provides a time to be calm and just breathe in such a busy world. Sometimes I draw right before I go to bed, because I forgot to earlier in the day. But even then, it’s relaxing.
A good majority of these have been done with Caran d’Ache watercolor pencils, but others have been done with watercolor, pens, etc.
First day: bumblebees. I drew quite a few of these, because I wanted to sew one on a sweater.
Second day: Bunny! It’s been a while since I’ve drawn my animals, and I think that they are still my favorite thing to draw.
Few days later (we are going to be skipping around a little bit), I painted these little plants. Didn’t take much time at all, but it was very calming.
Then I went on a small road trip, so I was scribbling down anything I thought was beautiful. That included old farm houses, old wooden barns, weird trees, and landscapes. This one is a large cliff overlooking a river.
On the seventh day, I drew this. Hopefully I’ll have a similar kitchen when I grow up!
Here was yesterday’s. It’s of two pieces of art in a museum!
I hope that I’m able to continue this; I’ve loved it so far. Have a lovely day!
